Our first pick-up location is at the corner of Belvedere Road and Chicheley Street, SE1 7PB—this is the designated pick-up and drop-off area for the London Eye. Situated in the Waterloo area, it’s just a short walk from both Waterloo and Westminster Stations.
Your guide and driver will typically arrive 5–10 minutes before departure. Look out for a small white bus marked "The English Bus." Please arrive early to ensure a prompt departure.
9:10 AM – Departure from London Victoria
Our second pick-up point is outside the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Victoria, located at 2 Bridge Place, SW1V 1QA. This is just a short walk from Victoria Station—use Exit 1 from the main railway station and turn right. Wait outside the hotel; we’ll pick you up as close to the entrance as possible.
After Pick-Ups – Depart London
Once everyone is on board and settled in, your driver-guide will introduce themselves and outline the day’s itinerary.
As we head out of London, enjoy a guided commentary highlighting some major landmarks along our route. We'll make a brief stop for restrooms, coffee, or snacks. You're welcome to enjoy food and drinks on the bus.
Late Morning – Arrive in Stratford-upon-Avon
Before arrival, your guide will share insights into the town’s rich history and offer suggestions on what to explore. You might want to visit Shakespeare’s birthplace—restored to reflect its 17th-century charm—or wander the town at your leisure.
About an hour after we arrive, we’ll regroup for either a guided walking tour or a panoramic drive (weather and mobility permitting). Highlights include Shakespeare’s birthplace and school, historic homes, the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, and Holy Trinity Church—Shakespeare’s final resting place.
Early Afternoon – Depart for the Cotswolds
We’ll journey south toward Oxford, winding through the scenic countryside of Warwickshire and into the charming landscapes of the Cotswolds. Your guide will continue to share interesting commentary along the way.
Afternoon – Explore the Cotswolds
Our first stop is Stow-on-the-Wold—the highest town in the Cotswolds—known for its historic market square and picturesque stone buildings. Enjoy exploring, or perhaps grab a snack from a traditional bakery or an ice cream.
Next, we travel through the serene Coln Valley on a scenic backroad—accessible only to smaller vehicles—passing through some of the Cotswolds’ most enchanting hidden villages: Coln St Dennis, Coln Rogers, Winson, and Ablington, before arriving in beautiful Bibury.
We’ll explore Bibury on foot, including a visit to the iconic Arlington Row—often cited as the most photographed cottages in the Cotswolds, and perhaps even in all of England Stroll Through Bibury
Take time to admire the stunning floral displays lovingly maintained by local residents, and soak in the picturesque views of this charming village from the peaceful banks of the trout-filled River Coln.
Late Afternoon – Arrival in Oxford & Walking Tour
Leaving the Cotswolds behind, we take a short but scenic drive through the countryside to the world-renowned city of Oxford—home to the oldest English-speaking university, the 900-year-old University of Oxford.
Upon arrival, you’ll have some free time to explore the city at your own pace. Afterwards, you’re invited to join an optional but complimentary one-hour walking tour led by your guide. You’ll discover Oxford’s most iconic sights—its grand architecture, quaint alleys, and historic colleges—while learning about the city’s fascinating past and its famous alumni.
After the tour, you’ll have additional free time to continue exploring, browse local shops, or perhaps enjoy a meal or drink in one of Oxford’s storied pubs.
8:15–8:30 PM – Return to Central London
Depending on traffic, we expect to return to central London between 8:15 and 8:30 PM. Your guide will tailor the return route to suit the group’s needs, doing their best to drop you off as close to your desired destination as possible. We’ll always offer to return to the original pick-up points if that’s most convenient for you. If you’re unsure about your onward journey, just ask your guide—they’re happy to help with directions or suggestions.
